Spray Drying Seminar                 June 8, 2011 - Barcelona, Spain

SPRAY DRYING, an innovative drying process for particle design, improved solubility/bioavailability, drying of bio molecules, taste masking and ….

Introduction

ProCepT, equipment and service provider, has built up more than 15 years of experience in R&D Drying, Agglomeration and Coating applications. As SPRAY DRYING is actually a very hot topic in Pharma and Bio, we take the pleasure to invite you to our cost effective seminar, offering you in 1 day a professional package of up to date Spray Drying know-how from R&D to Production scale, presented by a group of senior level speakers professionally active in this field of SPRAY DRYING.

Filip Van der Gucht
Business Dev Director @  ProCepT (Belgium)

Filip Van der Gucht is a Director at ProCepT managing the Sales & Marketing and Develops the last years the contract Service market in process feasibility for ProCepT. Filip has built up 20 years hands-on process know-how in drying/agglomeration/coating technologies since the start of ProCepT and is involved in several contract development and scale-up projects for third parties. Filip focused the last years on Spray Drying, processed more than 200 compounds and supervised 3 Master proofs in this field:
• Optimization of a Micro-Spray dryer by investigating the influence of nozzles, cyclones and process variables on the particle size and on the powder quality
• Spray Drying process optimization of a PLGA/API solid dispersion
• Spray Drying scale-up from mg to kg scale
Filip has a Master in Chemical Engineering Bio Technology
